Mumbai: Deutsche Asset Management (India) filed initial papers on 20 March with the Securities and Exchange Board of India to launch a 90-day closed-end fixed income fund.

DWS Fixed Term Fund - Series 28 will invest in debt and money market instruments, the fund house said in its offer document.

The fund will not charge any entry load but will levy an exit load of 1% for redemption before maturity.

The fund house managed assets worth Rs6,300 crore at the end of February, data from Association of Mutual Funds in India showed.
