Why do INX Media employees sit in the Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliancecorporate office?

Says IndraniMukerjea, chairperson, INX: “He is not an investor in my company. We’ve just rented office space from him. He’s my landlord. Nothing more.”

Meanwhile, former national sales head of Star India Pvt. Ltd, Shailesh Bijlani, has reportedly left INX Media after barely joining the channel. Bijlani says he is exploring other options.

Gaurish Pathare, assistant vice-president (buying), Reliance Capital Ltd, is reportedly moving to Mid-Day as its sales head. Pathare was earlier director of GroupM’s Central Trading Group (CTG), which handles media buying for non-Hindustan Unilever Ltd clients.

The business head of TV channel Sahara Filmy, Ashutosh, has resigned and been replaced by Shailesh Kapoor, who had been heading the content and marketing of the channel.

A new body for broadcasters called News Broadcasters Association has been constituted. G. Krishnan of the TV Today Group is president. Sameer Manchanda of Global Broadcast News is vice-president and NDTV Group CEO K.V.L Narayan Raois honorary treasurer.

AAAI has elected Mudra DDB chief Madhukar Kamathas president, and JWT India CEO Colvyn Harris as vice-president.
