Mumbai: Tata Consultancy Services said on 27 August it had signed a multi-year contract with Hawaiian Airlines to provide IT, business process outsourcing and infrastructure services.

The company did not put a value on the deal, but a source close to the development said the total contract was worth about $40 million.

TCS, India’s top software exporter, said in a statement it would provide maintenance and support services to the airline’s revenue accounting application.

Ahead of the announcement, shares in the Indian company closed 0.9% higher at Rs1,025.65 in a Mumbai market that rose 2.89%.
