Mumbai: Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd’s associate firm, Apollo Health Street Ltd, has acquired Atlanta-based Zavata for about $180 million, a company source said on 30 August.

Zavata is a healthcare-focussed business process outsourcing firm with about 1,000 employees, the source said on condition of anonymity.

The deal was funded through a mix of debt and equity, the source said.

Apollo Hospitals owns 46% in Apollo Health Street.
