New Delhi: Games2win, an online gaming company has launched a unique and proprietary online game called ‘Fantasy Cricket’ for all those who love cricket and online gaming.

The fantasy version will allow users to take control over the game and the destiny of their team. By forming one’s own winning team from a list of global cricketers, the rating would be on a point scoring basis.

In much the same way as the game is played on the real field, here they will be marked on their performance (by a computer algorithm) at the end of which the points will be added up.

The best selection of cricketers would lead with the best overall scores which in turn will determine the best fantasy player. With multiple features, the game allows flexibility and control with the added advantage of the team captains being able to change their teams and arrange for substitutions.

What prompted Alok Kejriwal CEO of Games2win.com to come up with a concept like this was that, “We all are all ‘arm chair cricketers’ with a strong point of view of who should have been selected and who should have been left out of the final team. There was every reason why a game on cricket would also do well.”

The game is being launched to coincide with the India-Australian series.
