Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group’s media adviser (to the chairman’s office) Divya Gupta has put in her papers, say media buyers familiar with the development. Gupta, however denied it. She joined the group in December 2005 from TME, the media agency of Rediffusion DY&R Pvt. Ltd, where she was president.

Rajesh Pavithran, managing director of K Sera Sera Productions Ltd, has put in his papers, and will be joining Applause Entertainment (P) Ltd in March as CEO. Pavithran confirmed the move.

The Asia Pacific Advertising Festival (AdFest) 2008 has announced the names of the judges for ad works from Asia. The Indians on the jury include Ravi Deshpande, chief creative officer of Contract Advertising (I) Ltd, Sonal Dabral, chairman, Bates David Enterprise, and Emmanuel Upputuru, national creative director, Publicis (India) Communications Pvt. Ltd.

Pradeep Guha, CEO of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, has been appointed to the board of directors of Future Media India Ltd, the media company of the Future Group. Media buyers close to the development also say he will be leaving Zee and joining Reliance Adag to lead its new TV venture.

Future Media has also appointed Nikhil Sheth as national sales director. Sheth had been the network head at National Geographic Channel Network India Pvt. Ltd.

Preet Bedi has resigned as CEO of Percept Picture Co. citing personal obligations as the reason. Bedi had joined Percept in January 2007.
