Neel Chowdhury will be joining Network18 as a vice-president, and will look after marketing operations of the television channels CNBC-TV18 and CNBC Awaaz. Chowdhury was earlier head of marketing at Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd’s news channel, Times Now.

Atul Hegde, chief operating officer, Vyas Giannetti Creative Pvt. Ltd, has put in his papers, say ad industry executives.

Hegde was involved in strategic planning across sectors such as financial products, media, entertainment and aviation. Prior to Vyas, he was part of the start-up team at Euro RSCG Advertising Pvt. Ltd.

BBC Worldwide has made three appointments in India to strengthen its Global Channels business operations in South Asia. Jasdeep Pannu is director of programming, Shaalu Wadhwa is director of marketing and communications, and Abhijeet Deolekar is creative director.

Paresh Vasa has joined Percept Holdings Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai, as chief financial officer. A 23-year veteran, he moves from Cinemeta Entertainments India Pvt. Ltd, where he was also finance chief.

The Ad Club Bombay’s annual Advertising Review on 7 March will have Sonal Dabral, regional executive creative director, Asia Pacific, and India chairman, Bates David Enterprise, steering the review committee. The identity of one of the speakers is being kept secret to surprise audiences.
