Singapore: Finance Minister, P Chidambaram, in addition to having mastered the art of presenting the Union Budget, has now yielded the pen to author a book which combines a bit of governance, financial management and larger economic issues that today confront the country.

‘A view from the outside: why good economics works for everyone’ is the title of his opus and it has a compilation of articles on the Indian economy.
The Singapore launch was hosted by the Kotak Group earlier this week.
The release function was hosted by Uday Kotak, executive vice-chairman and managing director, Kotak Mahindra Bank and was graced by Tharman Shanmugaratnam, finance minister, Republic of Singapore.
