New Delhi: Gaadi.com launched by PKBS, a consumer internet company that owns SecondShaadi.com, offers a one stop place for all car buying needs. Users can access information relating to research on what car to buy to comparing various models and brands on issues of pricing, technical specifications and USP. It will also give out details of dealers, financing options and insurance related inputs, all on one platform.

It also has a recommend a car feature, in which the system recommends a car to you based on a short list of questions. You can also check how much your car is worth today - particularly useful if you are looking to sell or buy a used car.

“Gaadi.com pays strong emphasis on user generated content”, says CEO Vivek Pahwa. It also brings in the community aspect with recommendations from people/ users on their experiences.

Currently there are a few auto portals in India, but these are still at nascent stages, not fully evolved. Gaadi.com hopes to attract 30,000 unique visitors a day to their platform in a span of three months.

The portal will start a used car exchange platform in the coming months and will let users buy and sell used cars online or offline, by reaching out to the biggest community of people searching for cars in India.
