New Delhi: Scintillating is what defines the match between the Mumbai Indian vs Kings XI Punjab on 21 May. Till the Mohali boys swooped the match in their favour with a one run victory, the match between Mohali and Mumbai Indians was a parallel victory. The crowd at Wankhede got their ticket’s worth with both the teams displaying some good cricket.

Mohali’s young Australian duo Shaun Marsh and Luke Pomersbach struck half centuries and shared a crucial 133-run partnership for the second wicket to get a challenging 189-4.

Mumbai’s Sanath Jayasuriya (20 off 12 balls) gave a rollicking start but was caught by Sreesanth with a slower ball before he could further continue with his knocks. Sachin Tendulkar was in his form (65 off 46 ball) till Pathan ran him out.

Mohali boys are now in the second position in the table, while Mumbai are placed fourth.
