New Delhi: Google India has come up with a strategy to create depth in key sectors and deliver significant and measurable growth for customers leveraging the AdWords platform. To do this, they have appointed Sridhar Seshadri as business head, financial services, Parminder Singh as business head, technology and Narasimha Jayakumar as business head, travel and local for its advertising and monetization business.

The focus of the company in India will be on providing counsel to customers regarding their digital, marketing and advertising strategies.

Sridhar will lead a team that will be responsible for the generation of advertising business from the financial services segment and will focus on serving key clients in the banking, insurance, and mutual funds sectors. Parminder will lead a team that drives Google’s advertising operations in the technology and telecommunications space in India.

Shailesh Rao, managing director, Google India said, “We want to create more value for our customers as they perfect their digital strategies and drive measurable and sustained business growth by leveraging the medium to its fullest using platforms like AdWords across the web, mobile, and potentially other channels in the future.”

Sridhar has a decade of work experience with ICICI Bank, Parminder has over 14 years of cross-functional experience in strategy and brand marketing with focus in technology and telecommunication sectors. Narasimha brings with him over 10 years of experience across multiple industries having worked with companies such as Expedia Inc., Cendant Corporation, Tata Consultancy Services and IBM India amongst others. Narasimha ran the B2B client portfolio for the distribution business of Expedia Europe based out of London.
