Mumbai: IVRCL Infrastructures and Projects Limited (IVRCL) has bagged a contract worth Rs837.6 crore from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) for its Dahej Petrochemical Complex.

“The company has bagged the order from a subsidiary of ONGC - ONGC Petro Additions Ltd,” IVRCL said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

UK-based Foster Wheeler is the consultant of the project, which is scheduled to be completed in 21 months.

The project marks an entry into oil and gas sector services for IVRCL. It is already executing high-end effluent treatment plants, including manufacturing of core equipment for the refineries, that are under construction in the country.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs412.40, down 0.55% on BSE in afternoon trade.
