Mumbai: MMTC Ltd on 7 August floated an import tender for 63,000 tonnes of pulses to be delivered between August and December, the state-owned company said on its Web site (http://www.mmtclimited.com).

The tender includes bids for 55,000 tonnes of yellow peas, including 35,000 tonnes of Canadian and US origin and 20,000 tonnes of French and Ukrainina origin.

Besides, the company invited bids for 2,000 tonnes each of chickpeas, dun peas and 4,000 tonnes of pigeon peas.

The last date to submit bids is 14 August, the company said.
