Bangalore: Staffing services company TeamLease Services Pvt Ltd has launched a hot line (600 12345) in eleven languages starting 15August, 2008 aimed at unemployed and unemployable candidates.

A candidate can call the hotline for registration, which will be followed by an 8-minute preliminary assessment. The hotline will be operational 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm.

English-speaking graduates and diploma holders can undertake a one-hour assessment following which feedback will be given to the candidate on knowledge, skills, aptitude and behaviour. “This assessment will be processed by our job matching algorithms to try matching with our 200 Ideal Candidate Profiles (ICP’s) that includes jobs like sales, finance, administration, supervisors, etc.

All candidates assessed will be called within 72 hours to discuss career prospects and options,” said the company in a press statement.

Candidates, who don’t find a job match post the job-matching process, will receive a call from the company’s training counselors to engage the candidates in short-term courses from 15 days to 4 months.
