New Delhi: Advertising on television by mobile phone makers rose 27% by volume during January-June 2008 compared to the corresponding period in 2007. Nokia Corp. topped the list of advertisers within this category.

A report titled ‘Advertising of Mobile Phones’, released by AdEx India, a division of TAM Media Research, also says National channels had the largest share of mobile phone advertisements on television.
