Mumbai: Kingfisher Airlines Ltd, India’s No 2 private carrier, on Thursday reported a net loss for the nine-month period from 1 July 2007 to 31 March, 2008.

The airline posted a net loss of Rs1.88 billion on net sales of Rs14.41 billion, it said in a statement.

The accounting year of Kingfisher Airlines has been changed to April to March from July to June, the airline said in a statement.

Shares of Kingfisher Airlines were down 9.85% at Rs40.25 in a weak Mumbai market.
