New Delhi: MetLife India is looking to recruit 2,000 managers and 30,000 advisors in the coming months and global management consultancy firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu is looking to hire 3,500 employees in the country.

This news comes at a time when in just less than a week, corporates in the US and UK have announced job cuts amounting to over 30,000.

Several companies, including banking behemoth Citigroup, British Telecom, ArcelorMittal and Royal Bank of Scotland have announced job cuts recently.
