New Delhi: India may cut prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas by around 10% by the end of this month, the oil minister, Murli Deora, told reporters on Wednesday.

“The price cut is under active consideration. In two to three weeks, a decision will be taken,” he said.

In December, the government cut gasoline prices by 10% and diesel by about 6 %.

“The cut may be as much as much last time, or may be even more,” Deora said.
