New Delhi: Turkey-based technology developer of wireless communications and consumer electronics AirTies, and Smart Digivision, an India-based telecommunications service provider, announced a partnership in New Delhi, on Thursday. Together they will bring IPTV technology to India.

IPTV is short for Internet Protocol Television, a system that uses the Internet to deliver high-definition quality to television viewers. AirTies and Smart Digivision will bring interactive services and on-demand content to set-top box devices in millions of homes. “Through this service Indian families will be able to watch what they want, wherever they want,” said AirTies chief executive officer Bülent Çelebi.
