New Delhi: Drug maker Lupin Ltd forecast profit and sales will rise 37% this financial year on increasing demand for generic medicines overseas.

Net income, excluding one-time gains, for the year ending this month will probably climb from Rs443 crore earned the previous year, managing director Kamal Sharma said on Tuesday in an interview. Sales last year reached Rs2,540 crore.

Ad firm says Prasoon has no stake in it

New Delhi: Frank Simoes Advertising Pvt. Ltd, one of the two advertising agencies hired by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for its campaign in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, has denied reports that lyricist and adman Prasoon Joshi had a stake in the agency. “I wish to state that Mr Prasoon Joshi has no stake whatsoever in Frank Simoes Advertising,” Frank Simoes Advertising managing director Ramma Luthra said in a press release.
