Mumbai: Aurobindo Pharma today said it has received US health administrator’s approval for Lopinavir and Ritonavir tablets used in the treatment of HIV infections.

In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the pharma company said it has received approval from US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) for tablets that are in the strength of 100/25 mg and 200/50 mg.

Lopinavir and Ritonavir tablets are used in the treatment of HIV infection in adult and children above the age of two years, the filing added.

Aurobindo now has a total of 93 Abbreviated New Drug Application approvals from US FDA.
