New Delhi: Spice Group is not submitting a bid for fraud-hit outsourcer Satyam Computer, a company official said on Monday.

Separately, CNBC-TV18 reported Tech Mahindra had submitted a bid for Satyam.

NDTV Profit television said Cognizant had submitted a bid.

Spice had been asking for some changes to the bidding process, including public disclosure of the names of other bidders for a 51% stake in the outsourcing firm

“We were very clear. If there is no open auction, we are withdrawing,” Preeti Malhotra, executive director at Spice Innovative Technologies, a Spice Group unit, told Reuters.
