Mumbai: Telecom operator Idea Cellular on Thursday reported a net profit of Rs274.3 crore for the fourth quarter (Q4) ended 31 March 31 2009.

The company had a net profit of Rs276.7 crore in the same quarter ended 31 March 2008, Idea Cellular said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

“Previous year figures have been regrouped and rearranged wherever necessary and not comparable with the current year due to the consolidation of financials pertaining to additional subsidiaries and joint ventures,” the company said.

Total revenue of the company rose to Rs2,935.6 crore during the quarter under review, while it had Rs1,985.3 crore during the same quarter last fiscal.
