Mumbai: Private domestic air carrier Kingfisher Airlines on Tuesday launched King Mobile, a mobile ticketing solution, which would enable its customers to book air travel ticket anywhere and anytime after securing ‘ngpay’ application on their GPRS-enabled mobile handsets.

‘ngpay’ is a mobile commerce service provider and the facility is available only on it.

The service would provide a convenient option to book tickets anywhere, anytime and can be used on all GPRS-enabled low-end as well as high-end phones, a company release here said.

With the introduction of Mobile King, the travellers can now book, pay and generate e-tickets on their phones as well as check mails and book Kingfisher Holidays, it said.

However, to avail the service, users would have to download the secure ‘ngpay’ application on their GPRS-enabled mobile handsets by sending an SMS KingMobile to 56388.

Once the application is installed, after one-time registration, guests can book tickets, Kingfisher Holiday packages and also check their King Miles, it added.
