If you had three wishes?

I would step out of (a) self-centred industry approach and (would want to) see the government do the following:

• Continue investment and accountability in infrastructural development

• Take comprehensive time-bound steps to address health

• Take broad steps in taxation, logistics, infrastructure to support domestic consumption in urban and rural areas

What would be one thing outside your industry you would want to end?

Our bad system of Central, state, district taxation system...(to) bring about a unified national general sales tax.

What is the one thing you wouldn’t touch/change?

Investment in rural areas (and schemes) such as the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act

What is your idea of inclusive growth?

A scenario where industry grows with society, where the space separating low and high classes is reduced, where labour laws are aligned to industrial growth, where public governance is an act for other countries to emulate.
