New Delhi: Drug firm Ranbaxy Laboratories has received US health regulator’s approval for oral solution Oxcarbazepine, used in the treatment of epilepsy and bipolar disorder.
According to the information available on regulator’s website, the company has got the approval in 100mg/5ml strength.
Oxcarbazepine is an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizing drug, used primarily in the treatment of epilepsy and bipolar disorder. It is also used to treat anxiety disorders.
