Mumbai: Financial services provider Citigroup has appointed Debashish Duttagupta as head of investments for Citi Asia Pacific wealth management business.

Duttagupta was previously head of capital markets for the wealth management businesses, a release said.

He will lead a 150-strong investments team in Hong Kong to provide investment insights and capabilities to Asia-Pacific clients across retail consumers to mega-wealth clients.

As head of the wealth management business, Duttagupta will oversee all investment products including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, structured products, investment funds and alternative investments as well as investment analysis and advice group.

He will also be responsible for the bank’s treasury and banking team and the Investments Advisory & Sales Unit, the release said.
