Mumbai:Alok Industries Ltd, an Indian supplier of textiles to Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and GAP Inc., said it won $150 million (Rs733.5 crore) of orders from US retailers after expanding into polyester and fabric businesses.

The Mumbai-based company spent Rs5,000 crore in the past five years to add polyester and fabric spinning and weaving businesses to its existing textile plant, chief financial officer Sunil Khandelwal said.
