New Delhi: The Faculty of Management Studies said on Friday it has found summer jobs for all its 142 students in the class of 2011. Average stipend for the summer internship touched Rs30,000. Last year, the average stipend was Rs37,000 but that included accommodation and travel expenses, the school said. First-time recruiters on-campus included JPMorgan Chase, Lazard, Nomura Holdings, Fullerton Securities, and Kellogg’s. FMS is one of the first business schools to come out with its summer jobs report. Business schools reeled last year under the combined effect of the Wall Street meltdown and conservative hiring by Indian companies.
