An experimental drawing exchange between four Sri Lankan artists—Muhanned Cader, Thamotharampillai Shanaathanan, Chandraguptha Thenuwara and Jagath Weerasinghe—and their dialogue through art over 29 months. It was commissioned and curated by Sharmini Pereira for the independent publishing house, Raking Leaves.
The second exhibition features the work, post-1998, of painter and performance artist Mahbubur Rahman, a key figure on the Bangladeshi art scene. It has been curated by Vidya Shivadas, out of the Lekha and Anupam Poddar Collection.
Also on view will be The Souvenir Maker by Indian artist L.N. Tallur. This multimedia work brings into focus the idea of boundaries, as its extended title explains:
...Yes, We Are Conditioned to Think Under Flags.
