I have invested in 200 shares of Bharti (100 @ Rs422 and 100 @ Rs359) and 200 of Idea (@ Rs75.3). I sure can be a long-term investor; however, I would be looking for at least 20% annual return in that case, i.e., Bharti @ Rs640-650 and Idea @ Rs120-125). Should I stay invested in these?

Amit

As you are a long-term investor, you can stay invested in these stocks. In the immediate term, the trend in these stocks is highly volatile and uncertain.

In the short term the stocks, purely technically look weak, though I do not see a major fall from these levels. For the medium term, I think, there would be renewed buying interest in these stocks from December. In the long term, I see them as good bargains.
