New Delhi: Hearing an appeal by multinational drug firm Bayer Corp. and its Indian arm Bayer Polychem (India) Ltd on Friday, the Supreme Court refused to stay a Delhi high court order of 10 February which rejected Bayer’s attempt to block the Drug Controller General of India from allowing Cipla Ltd to market its generic version of Nexavar.

The apex court has issued a notice to Cipla and posted the matter for further hearing in the third week of April.
