New Delhi: Fashion TV, the international television channel dedicated to fashion and beauty, has landed in trouble in India again. The ministry of information and broadcasting has imposed a one-week ban on the telecast of the French channel. The prohibition on transmission is applicable from 7pm on 12 March to 7pm on 21 March.

The ban has been imposed for a programme that the channel aired in September that showed “women with nude upper body which was offending against good taste and decency”.
