precisely the reason why someone would want to trademark something, if you got free time to write a whole article , someone definitely sees a business opportunity in patenting that's popular . Remember Turmeric , basmati all got patented by somebody . If BMW , RUPA BANIAN can be a brand why not new age gurus ????
