Very nicely written. I completely agree with the arguments. Success in school is not at all completely extrapolatable to success in life.
Indian schools are good at only making children do rote memorization and to make them slaves of the system. There is nothing in the system to promote individual talent or to motivate out of the box thinking.
And it also reflects widely in our culture and professional attitude.
