The US president's desk has a plaque saying 'The buck stops here"In India the buck is very dynamic.It stops wherever Sonia "wills" it to stop.Anywhere, but at her doorstep.This time the fall guy is Shivraj Patil.Who, one may ask is responsible for persisting with the most inept,clueless and incompetent home minister India has ever seen.Sonia Gandhi is.Everyone knows who the casting director of the UPA government is.If Madame Gandhi's only metric is 'unquestioned fawning loyalty" she may want to consider getting herself a dog.This is what happens when you give someone Power without Accountibility.And our poor Mr Manmohan Singh is in the unenviable position of having 'responsibilty without power"This is one of the few concerns of the BJP that I wholly endorse. Can a system of governance be more prostituted than the current dispensation is.Now she is looking for a "Maratha" to succeed Vilasrao Deshmukh.For heaven's sake when will we see the day in our country when the best guy gets the job..irrespective of his/her birth,catse,religion and 'loyalty'.Indian leaders across the political spectrum sicken and revolt us with their sycophancy, supplicating 'soundbytes' which are little else but thinly disguised 'job applications' to their political masters. I am sorry..but I dont anymore feel proud to be Indian.This is a sad day in any citizens life.
