We need to have major change in our criminal justice system so that everyone right from a small pickpocket to a terrorist is dealt with heavy hand. Our existing system has become outdated may be because when this was defined , nobody thought of such distardly & mindless acts of killing innocent people. Fast track courts are need of the hour. Failure to discharge duty should be viwed as an offence & should be punished immediately. We the citizens of India have to rise to this occasion & tell our elected representatives that they are not here just for making money & living under "Z Plus" security. The mumbai attacks has shattered our hopes & we are badly demoralised becuase everything in the name of intelligence & security has failed misrably. If the reports are to be believed that the terrorists came by a ship, entered into our water boundary, boarded speed boats & reached the plae they wanted. Nobody knew about it. Our ATS chief gets killed in the very first hand. The terrorists are striking at their will in every part of our country & we keep on blaming only Pakistan & do nothing. We capture terrorists & feed them in jails. One fine morning we have to release them becuase it is the question of saving some one from the family of a politician. It is high time that our goverment learns somthing at least this time. Otherwise the time is not far away when people will openly come on the roads discarding this kind of democracy.
