After ‘Slumdog’, Danny Boyle set to film ‘Maximum City’
The British film-maker has apparently bought the film rights to ‘Maximum City: Bombay Lost and Found’, a 2004 book by Suketu Mehta, the Indian-born, New York-based journalist and author, for an undisclosed sum

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. but i agree with the notion that there could be some positive outcome from such movies. poverty COULD be eradicated in india - only if the average politician raises his/her standards to that of the average voter (and the subsequent mechanims work flawlessly). my earlier comments were based primarily on those of non-indians after watching SDM. mom to son - "aren't you glad you were not born in india?" senior citizen - "gosh, it was very uplifting"
