British Telecom offers staff a year at home for 75% pay cut
A British Telecom spokesman said this is an extremely progressive way of managing costs during a recessions rather than making redundancies

The figures in this article must be wrong. 75% is too big a cut. Workers would make more from unemployment insurance. And the $1600 (approx.) one time payment certainly won't encourage anytime to take the deal.
