As US economy goes into a deep recession in the wake of sub-prime crisis, companies will surely retrench their IT spend as slowly the entire financial ecosystem corrodes ancilliary companies feeding on it like home improvement centers, home service sector, banks, etc. More reason for Infosys to turn its attention inwards and improve our life by introducing more e-govt. initiatives. Margins may be thinner, but I suspect there's enough volumes to make it look good on their balance sheets. If only our politicians see the light of the day...
