Mr. Bhattacharya is right is highlighting the Chinese Cyber attack instances, intentions and dangers. Chinese are very aggressive in the last one year about strengthening their Cyber War capabilities. They have been testing these capabilities on various installations and are learning from these. In this process, Chinese are testing the Cyber security preparedness of various super/big/small powers of the world. They seems to be n the process of refining their skills and accuracy. The risk can not be ruled out - when China will declare an all out war against any adversary in the world to choke or destroy their IT assets. This adversary can be a sovereign nation or a powerful corporation or any other interested group/organisation. It can be a selective and targeted attack also. In Indian, we are just sleeping. Government thinks that they and their people know all. With the salary scales, motivation and challenge, decision making in Government, the cutting edge people are absent in government infrastructure. Government disbelieve private sector. This is recipe for emerging disaster. I do not know, when the people in power will realise the same and act. I do not know, whether Cyber war capabilities will become another Nuclear haves and have-not in future. I have been following and publishing Chinese cyber news for over 6 months in our newsletter (Control-computer-crimes newsletter). The developments are really scary.
