In essence the writers say men, without equal production in the home, equally benefit from wives dong the lion's share of domestic chores, and thus should be taxed at a higher level, because women's work at home prevents them from earning as much as men.
But what the writers won't admit is that there are just as many women, without equal production in the labor market, who equally benefit from their husband's greater production in the work force.
