Leckey's Expanding Circle seems to match the credo of Jean Monnet, founder of the EU. Nourishing the world markets by enriching the poorest of people would surely make a bigger pie to be shared by all. It would be an easier sell if explained in Leckey's language. Many of your friends at The Wall Street Journal should be guided toward enlightened self interest.
