You are right. Quality of Life indicators in DK are much higher than rest of Karnataka. And it is equally true it gets little help from the state govt. It is the proactiveness and entrepreneurship of the people here, whether in private transport, banking, Educational Institutions, DK has made its mark on the nation. With Mangalore developing as a business hub great times ahead for DK people.
