I have personally bribed AICTE officials to get favours for MCA status. This was done at the behest of Chairman of an Education Society in Chandigarh . The year was 2001-02. I had no choice but I did not like it . AICTE should be disbanded. Let the Govt have foreign education brought in freely. License Raj is bad for the country. Open and transparent competition will only help
