6 reasons why Congress will lose in Karnataka
The most important reason for the Congress’ poor performance is its inability to be seen as a party that can provide a popular, pro-people government

hmmm...as i read the posts here its absolutely clear that most of u ppl are upper castes who hate the congress and love the bjp bcos it projects itself as an anti-minority,anti-dalit and anti-OBC party....
We in india are a secular democracy and while i was growing up it was instilled in me to love all sections of ppl...
And for the ppl who shout a lot about moditva ...pls give me a break..
have u ever gone to gujarat? why do u beat ur chests out for gujarat? u have no mind of ur own...just believe the propoganda...
gujarat is not even as developed as kerala forget karnataka which is miles ahead....gujarathi morons run at the first chance they get to america or mumbai and ruin those places too..
love ur own state...don praise others if u dont know...political sidings must come distant to state love..
The congress win will for the simple political fact that it is not overtly any community this time...It is seen as an OBC + Minority + Dalit + Partially vokkaliga party....then off course ppl like me in bangalore vote for it bcos i want my city to be in peace....
Congress had 36% vote share in 2004....
BJP had 28% vote share in 2004...
I agree that there would be more support for the BJP this time but remember it had JDU and Bangarappa in their party last time...That in it self is around 4% votes which they will over come and probably add 2 more % to reach 30%....
The minorities and dalits who voted for JDs last time will vote en masse fr the congress this time.
But the icing will be the kuruba vote for siddaramaiah which constitutes 9% .The JDS got it last time the congress will get it this time..This in it self should take it 43%....historically 42% is required for a simple majority...
so there we are i predict a congress win as india is a caste ridden nation...a BJp win will surely be a electoral miracle
