Dear Nitin, your login that Indian Muslims are secular because more Muslims chose to stay on in India notwithstanding the communal bloodbath of Partition is simply wrong. Many Muslims chose to stay in India because they had no option to go to Pakistan. There was an eligibility criteria to migrate to Pakistan during partition and the criteria was income/assets above a particular limit, which ensured that 85% of the Muslim population was not eligible to migrate to Pakistan. The proof lies in the fact that only elite/rich families (like the Musharrafs) were eligible to migrate. Get your facts right brother!
