Mumbai:Reliance Capital Ltd., or RCap, Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group’s flagship financial services company, on Thursday announced that it was appointing Shek Chee Seng as the new chief executive of Reliance Asset Management (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
Seng was earlier the chief executive of CITIC-Prudential Fund Management in China and will report to Vikrant Gugnani, chief executive and president (international businesses). Seng will lead business strategy for the overall growth of the Singaporean subsidiary besides helping RCap to become a leading global asset management company, a company statement said.
The subsidiary has the licence to carry out fund management activities in the equities, fixed income and derivatives space in Singapore. Currently, the equity funds are India-focused.
