New Delhi: The state-run Oil and Natural Gas Corp. Ltd. will produce 12 metric million standard cubic metres per day (mmscmd) of gas from a block in the Krishna Godavari basin off India’s east coast from 2012, its chairman said on 24 July.
“The results are very encouraging, we are now working on development plan and it should be ready by 2008," R.S. Sharma told reporters.
“We expect our 98/2 block will produce at the rate of 12 mmscmd from 2012 and our appraisal plan is almost being completed."
