Mumbai: Private-sector lender Karur Vysya Bank on Thursday said its net profit in the December quarter grew 27.61% at Rs59.25 crore over the corresponding period a year ago.
The bank had a net profit of Rs46.43 crore in December quarter last fiscal, Karur Vysya Bank said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income of the bank rose to Rs506.43 crore in the third quarter of the current financial year from Rs340.04 crore of last fiscal.
For the nine-month period ended 31 December, Karur Vysya Bank reported a net profit of Rs152.02 crore, a 10.32% growth over Rs137.79 crore in the same period last fiscal.
During the December quarter, the lender earned an interest of Rs375.13 crore, whereas the same was at Rs295.62 crore last year.
